An exciting project to be involved in for the launch of “Le pain a la main”, an enterprising new bakery producing a range of artisan breads from scratch using authentic ingredients. To get them heading in the right direction we have designed their logo, branding, business cards and website. Vision for homebuyers

When you’re buying a new build home one thing you’d like to know is what is it going to look like? After all, it will probably be the most expensive purchase of your life and it would be nice to see what you are spending all that money on. Photorealistic 3D visuals or computer-generated imagery (Cgi) has now become the norm for any building design presentation. The house visuals we create and generate for Gleeson Homes are used within their sales literature, on the website and in their sales offices and are an invaluable tool in the selling of new homes.

Boccia banners

What is Boccia I hear you say – well, the game of Boccia (pronounced ‘Bot-cha’) originated in Greece, where players threw large stones at a stone target. Its name is derived from the Latin word for ball – bottia. In 1984 it became a Paralympic sport and with this being an olympic year, provides a great opportunity to promote and generate new interest in their Lord’s Taverners Under 19s programme which aims to offer more competitive playing opportunities in schools. The pull-up banners were the solution and are a striking, effective and portable way of promoting and advertising your events.

Celebrating 60 years

It’s not just the Queen that’s celebrating this year – being in business for 60 years is definitely something to shout about and that is what Artistic Upholstery are doing with our design of a 60th year logo. Pads on the ipad

One company, two website sections, three business divisions?
We were challenged by RJ Harmer to create a website that would serve a dual purpose, as a marketing tool to attract potential clients to their property business and as a database for existing clients to access. The site is a great example of post PC website design for the ipad generation, intuitive interactivity with a simplicity and clarity to the information being presented. In the comfort zone

Having worked closely with Artistic Upholstery Ltd of Long Eaton on other projects we were asked to design and develop a brand new website to showcase Artistic’s extensive range of quality hand made furniture. The website features a classic gallery style layout to maximise and show off the high quality craftsmanship of each piece. Artistic Upholstery have had great feedback from their clients which has been enhanced with the introduction of a monthly newsletter which Simon Design have implemented. The website will continue to be developed over the next few months to include additional gallery features, new products and regular news features linked to the newsletter. Fitted website

Contour Furnishings Ltd in Ilkeston, Derbyshire have been designing and installing quality bedroom and home office furniture for over 25 years and although they already had a website, they felt it wasn’t reflecting the same quality and design of their products and services and realised it was time for a new design. The new site focuses heavily on images of bedrooms and offices they have designed and fitted, along with photographs of their extensive showroom. With a large gallery section this will enable customers to see what Contour can achieve and also provide ideas for how their new bedroom or office could look. Tags give the finishing touch

Blackbrook at Home is a new range of preserves, chutneys, traditional desserts and savoury delights inspired from the menus created at Blackbrook House – a unique venue hosting private celebrations and weddings. The new range of products will be available from local farm shops and delicatessen in and around Derbyshire – so you will be able to take a little bit of Blackbrook home! The design of the tags reflects the homemade, traditional produce feel and have been printed onto a coloured board to work with the brown paper and raffia packaging.

Kerb appeal for Blackbrook House

Blackbrook House, a new client to Simon Design, is a magnificent Victorian mansion nestled within the Ecclesbourne Valley that pride themselves on being a unique venue for fabulous occasions, including weddings, private parties, champagne breakfasts, Sunday lunches and afternoon teas. With the house being at the head of a sweeping drive it was key to have a sign at the driveway entrance that not only allowed visitors to find them easily but would also work as a way to advertise Blackbrook House and their forthcoming events and celebrations.
